MINISTRIES

Adult Singles Ministry inspires to educate adult singles on the ways to live their lives according to Romans 12: 1, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your true and proper worship.”

Altar Guild Ministry is responsible for decorating and beautifying the sanctuary and fellowship hall for various occasions and seasons.

Birth Month Ministries serve as a way for new members to instantly belong to an organization within the church and provides opportunities for fellowship with people born in the same month.

Deacon Board is charged with the spiritual life of the church. Responsiblities include leading devotion, serving the Lord's Supper, visiting the sick, and assisting the pastor and ministerial staff.

Children's Ministry brings youth into closer relationship with Jesus Christ by empowering them with the Word of God, the Holy Spirit, and kinship among their peers and mentors.

Deaconess Board lead in devotion, prepare the Lord's Supper table and the sacraments for the Vesper services, and assist with baptism preparation for new members,

Department of Christian Education provides programs that will foster growth and guidance for believers, to evangelize through missions, and to instruct participants as they develop knowledge of the Bible, church history, and Christian ethics and conduct.

Food Ministry consist of members who are willing to support the ministries of the church by preparing and serving food for special functions, and are certified in proper food maintenance.

Full Circle Prison Ministry witnesses the Gospel to inmates, prepares care packages, prayer grams, and provides support to those incarcerated and their families.

Health Ministry assist members during service, serve as the Pastor's nurses, and provides information on health and nutrition to members of the church and community.

Married Couples Ministry fosters an opportunity for married couples in the church to celebrate the sancitity of marriage in a group fellowship.

Missionary Society (Outreach Ministry) moto is "Each One, Reach One". Missionaries are active in community outreach and beyond. They coordinate our Women's Day activities, visit the sick and confined, provide food for the needy, and sponsor our Door of Hope Outreach Mission once a month.

Mother's Board are elder woman who serve as spiritual guides for the younger women and new members of the church.

Music Ministry includes our musicians and the following choirs, and are responsible for lifting up the name of Jesus in song.

Senior Saints Ministry - God's Golden Gems

provides programs and activities for seniors in the church and community to celebrate the blessings of aging.

Scholarship Ministry sponsors our Black History Celebration, Teacher Appreciation Day, Baccalaureate Sunday, and manages monetary gifts and school supplies distributed to graduates from preschool, high school, and college.

Trustee Board handle the financial concerns of the church and share suggestions for improvement and church growth.

Usher Board (Senior and Junior) escort members and guests to their seats, helps with those requiring special accommodations., and assist with the collection of church offerings.
